Library Instruction Information
Winter Park librarians offer library instruction and library tours
to teach information literacy to groups, classes, faculty and staff. Faculty are
encouraged to reserve a librarian to provide general and specific library
instruction for students..
Request
Form
Please allow 24 hours for the library staff to process a request. Reserving a computer classroom requires at least a five day notice.
- Due to possible scheduling conflicts, please offer alternative instruction dates and have at least a one week notice between request(s) and desired library instruction class(es.) Library information instruction sessions are individually developed to offer students appropriate guidance related to classroom assignments.
- This learning experience is enhanced when professors are present throughout the library instruction and can answer students’ questions in real time. If faculty cannot be present during the scheduled instruction time, the library staff will work with the faculty member to reschedule the event as best as possible.
- Please be prepared to begin at the scheduled time. Scheduling conflicts can force a class cancellation if the class is more than 15 minutes late.
