Computer Services for Winter Park Students and Employees

Our Mission Statement

The Winter Park Campus Computer Services Department is committed to providing students with a pleasant, seamless computing experience while on campus helping to promote enhanced instructional support by empowering students, staff and faculty through the use of computer technologies.

Our goal is to also provide staff and faculty with a full range of technology services while providing exceptional computer support by means of fast, efficient, innovative solutions to everyday computer problems.

To implement proactive service strategies by providing preventative hardware maintenance and software and security updates to reduce or eliminate computer and software problems.

To reduce costs by implementing sound, reliable tecnological solutions where appropriate.

Provide guidance and vision supporting new technologies and electronically enhanced teaching environments.

Responsibilities

The Computer Services Department is responsible for maintaining all student use computers in the Computer Labs and common use areas such as the Winter Park Campus Library, CSSC, Math Center, Career Center and the Atlas Lab. We also support all of the instructor computers in the standard classrooms. The Audio Visual Department is responsible for instructor computers in the Smart Classrooms.

Computer Services also manages the Winter Park Campus website.
