A: The program begins in the fall term. Each semester consists of a fully online course lasting ten weeks, and a face-to-face lab held on our West campus and a clinical practicum course. In the first semester, the lab is held once per week on Saturday from 8:30AM-5:00PM for five weeks. After completion of the laboratory course, the clinical practicum course begins and is conducted over the next 5 weeks. The clinical site assignment is dependant upon site availability and your location. Clinical times/days will vary again based on clinical site availability and your location.

The program is online, with the exception of lab and clinical. Lab only meets once per week for 5 weeks and is followed by the clinical, so the schedule is conducive to a working professional. For example the fall schedule is as following:

2nd 5 weeks of term.....online class and weekly on-campus lab
3rd 5 weeks of term......clinical only (1-2 10 hour shifts per week)

The program will certainly improve your ability to perform titration and increase your knowledge as a practicing sleep technologist. The clinical site assignment is dependant upon site availability and your location. Clinical times/days will vary again based on clinical site availability and your location.
