Sharyn Gaston serves as Career Program Advisor for the West Campus. Mrs. Gaston-McGriff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has worked in academic counseling at the University of Kentucky and at the University of Central Florida. Ms. Gaston also has extensive experience counseling in the social service spectra including chemical dependence, adolescence, marriage, and vocational counseling. Her professional background includes work in human resources, group facilitation, case management, benefits orientations, large and small group presentations, and as a wedding coordinator/planner.

The Career Program Advisor (CPA) is a specialized educational advisor who can guide students in the successful completion of an Associate in Applied or Associate in Science Degree or Certificate Program.

The CPA can answer program-specific questions, assist in career and educational planning, and offer expert educational guidance for students seeking career opportunities through the completion of A.S. Degrees and Technical Certificates.
