College Night
The Central Florida community is invited to visit Valencia to meet with more than 130 college representatives in a college fair forum during two evenings in October.
Counselor Day
High school counselors from Orange and Osceola counties are invited to visit Valencia in October to participate in a full day of professional development to support their work with students.
High School Visits
During the fall and spring of the academic year, Valencia Coordinators will visit with high school juniors and seniors to share enrollment information. Click here to view a list of Orange and Osceola county schools visited by Valencia each year. Please contact us if your school is not listed and you would be interested in a high school visit by Valencia.
Group Visits
Group Visits are designed for schools or organizations interested in bringing a group of eight or more people to learn more about Valencia Community College. Topics may include: planning for college, how to enroll, financial aid, and will be followed by a campus tour experience. Every fall, high school seniors from Orange and Osceola County are invited to attend our on-site admissions program. Students enjoy a multimedia presentation on Valencia's steps to enrollment (with specific emphasis on residency, financial aid, UCF Direct Connect, Dual Enrollment, Student Clubs and Organizations.)
Career Carnival
Every fall, middle school students are invited to attend this fun event designed to give students the opportunity to interact with various career programs in a carnival themed setting. Students will also learn about their own career interests by completing a career assessment and will have the opportunity to explore our campus on a tour.
High School Feud
In the spring, high school 9-11th graders are invited to participate in this interactive program which tests their college smarts in the admission process. With an emphasis on readiness, the program will also include information related to career and degree programs at Valencia and tips for conducting their college search. A student panel and tour will conclude the program.
Freshman Orientation
These are special new student orientation workshops designed for previous year high school graduates and their parents. These events are held in June each year.
Go Higher Get Accepted
This statewide campaign is offered by Valencia to select high schools in Orange and Osceola counties. This campaign offers high school students guidance in completing the community college admission application process.
Valencia Previews
Future students and their families are encouraged to attend a Preview to learn more about Valencia Community College. Previews last approximately one-hour and a half and include an informational presentation. A question and answer session will follow each presentation with a discussion on our academic programs, financial aid, and the Honors Program. College Fairs
The transitions team also attends numerous fairs throughout Central Florida that are offered by community and business partners. In addition, as a member of the Central Florida Higher Education Alliance we coordinate fairs with organizations and attend fairs that other Alliance members organize.

Enrollment Service Centers
Handle inbound calls from prospective and current students; respond to inquiries submitted via email, online information request form, and advertising campaigns; coordinate print materials; data entry; and handle mailings.
Youth Education Day
Valencia invites ethnically diverse students and foster youth each year to a college planning workshop. Sessions cover steps to enrollment for college, financial aid, testing strategies (SAT & ACT), and special sessions just for parents and guardians. This event also includes a college and housing fair.
