Services
DHHS is committed to clear and effective communication, to delivery
of quality sercices, and to compliance with the provisions of the
Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of
the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Services are provided on a case by case basis and are dependent
upon the degree of hearing loss and the impact of the hearing loss
on the student's ability to function in the post-secondary educational
environment.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of priority registration
and to apply for services at the time of registration or at least
four weeks prior to the start of classes. DHHS cannot guarantee
that accommodations will be available on the first day of class

before the start of the semester. However, students have the right
to request services at any time during the semester.
