2005/2006 American Institute of Architects Scholarship

Any student enrolled in the Architecture, Building Construction Program, or a related field may be interested in applying for the American Institute of Architects Scholarship. Eligible applicants must be enrolled full time, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants with financial need or architectural majors will be given priority. To apply please make sure you've completed the 2005/06 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov . Then fill out the 2005/2006 Valencia Foundation Scholarship Application found at www.valenciacc.edu/finaid (under forms and worksheets). Once complete, submit all documents to the Answer Center on your campus. The scholarship award will cover tuition, fees, and books.

University of Central Florida (UCF)-Minority Community College Transfer Scholarship


This scholarship is available to ethnic minority students preparing to transfer to UCF from a Florida public community college. Scholarships are awarded for Fall and Spring semesters only. Eligible applicants must also meet these additional requirements:
Participate in the College-Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) program, or fulfill other CLAST related requirements
Be admitted to UCF between January 2006 and August 2006
Comply with the Selective Service registration requirements (male applicants only)

Deadline for Application Materials is May 31, 2006.

The Osceola Center for the Arts, in its efforts to partner with Valencia, is offering a scholarship for a highly motivated, responsible Osceola Campus student. This student must have computer and office administration skills. In return for working part-time at the Osceola Center for the Arts, this student's tuition will be paid by the Center.
