Citing Print Sources
In addition to the citation instructions provided by your textbook, the examples given in the MLA Documentation of Reference Sources handout may be helpful. These examples are for commonly used reference sources such as general encyclopedias, subject-specialized encyclopedias, dictionaries, literary anthologies, multi-volume sets, reference articles with and without cited authors, controversial topic anthologies, the bible, government documents, and the like.
