A list of new books and audiovisual materials received during the past two months at the college is arranged by campus and then by call number. The list is also available online.

Request Materials for Purchase

• Audiovisual Materials
  Each year, funds for audiovisual materials (videotapes, CDs, computer software, and laserdiscs) are allocated by department within the Library budget. The department chairs collect requests for purchase from the faculty members in their departments. These requests are prioritized and then submitted to the librarian liaison. Usually, if the material is already owned by another Valencia campus, it is not duplicated. Faculty are notified when the material arrives and once again after it is processed (cataloged for the collection). Lists of new materials are available online.
  
  
• Books
  The library orders books which support the curriculum of the college. Faculty are encouraged to request books for purchase through their department's librarian liaison. Requests should be sent to the librarian. Faculty are notified of receipt when books are received. Lists of new materials are available online or at the Information/Reference Counter.
