Scholarships for Prospective & Current Valencia Honors Students

Valencia Honors Program
President’s Academic Honors Scholarship

The President’s Academic Honors Scholarship is a competitive, non-transferrable merit scholarship offered to new incoming Valencia students who demonstrate outstanding academic talent and wish to enroll in Honors courses at Valencia. The scholarship is a $2,000 award ($1,000 for Fall term and renewable for an additional $1,000 for spring term upon completion of requirements). The following year, students may apply to the Honors Exemplary Scholarship for up to two years if requirements are met and a 3.5 GPA is maintained. Awards will be determined per term and will be based on competitive academic merit. All students receiving any form of financial aid must meet the standards of progress as outlined by the federal government.

Bronze Scholarship

The Bronze Honors Scholarship is a competitive, non-transferrable merit scholarship offered to incoming and current Valencia students who demonstrate outstanding academic talent and wish to enroll in Honors courses at Valencia. The scholarship is a $1,000 award ($500 Fall and renewable for an additional $500 for Spring term upon completion of requirements). Students may reapply for up to three years if requirements are met and a minimum of a 3.25 GPA is maintained. Awards will be determined per term and will be based on competitive academic merit. All students receiving any form of financial aid must meet the standards of progress as outlined by the federal government and complete Honors coursework with a “C” or better.
