SKILLSHOPS

Life is full of challenges. Students should be well prepared in a wide variety of areas because they are faced with stress, competition, and social and academic pressures. To enhance our students' educational experiences,  Valencia offers a series of collegewide seminars every Fall and Spring term to address some of these issues.

Things you should Know about Skillshops:

• No charge - they're free to all current Valencia students
• No registration needed - just show up with your student ID
• No limit - take as many Skillshops as you want
• No test
• No homework
• No credit - although you learn plently, you get no college credit for taking Skillshops

	In order to view PDF files, you will need Adobe Reader which is available for free from the Adobe web site.
	In order to view DOC files, you will need Microsoft Word which is included in the Microsoft Office software suite. RTF files can be viewed by most any word processor such as WordPad which comes with Windows.
