About Us 

Valencia Community College began offering conference and meeting planning services in 1991. Over the past seventeen years, we have served more than 199 clients and more than 46,000 attendees throughout the country. Conference & Meeting Planning Services (CMPS) was developed from a desire to apply the best educational and business practices to meetings, training seminars, and conferences as a way to extend professional development opportunities in the community.

Based in Orlando, Florida, CMPS is a member of the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and active in the meeting planning and hospitality industry. Unlike conference centers at many colleges and universities, our services are not restricted to a fixed campus location. We work closely with a network of venues and vendors, and can provide all, or part, of your meeting or conference arrangements, wherever the destination.
