February / March 2002: Description of the presentation series
will appear in the Orlando Sentinel Calendar Section;
Valencia's faculty
and staff weekly newsletter, The Bulletin; and Valencia's
weekly student newsletter, The Valencia Source. Public service
announcements will be aired on local radio and television stations,
including Valencia Television (on cable). Promotional announcements
will be strategically placed on
Valencia campus
bulletin boards, at local libraries, community
centers, the Wells'Built African-American Museum of History and
Culture, and will be promoted to local schools and their teachers,
enabling them to offer the content to their students. Note: This
promotional strategy will be utilized during key periods, as noted
below, prior to presentations held throughout the grant period.
