The Emeritus Program honors former
faculty and staff whose contributions
have built Valencia into one of the most
respected community colleges in the
country. In order to be eligible for this
prestigious award, individuals must have
been employed at Valencia Community
College in a full-time capacity for a
minimum of ten years and demonstrated
excellence in one of the following
categories: distinction of service,
leadership in their respective fields, or
contributions to the college.

the President's Council, and granted the

Valencia Emeritus status by the District
