The Valencia A Cappella Chorale is now holding auditions for the spring term. The chorale is open to all students, staff, faculty and community members. Participants must have some music skill and be quick learners.

The Valencia A Cappella Chorale explores a wide variety of music and genres and is made up of several groups. At the core, is a group called Intone. Intone sings the music of Epcot’s Voices of Liberty and even works with their director/producer, Derric Johnson, from time to time.

Starting January 12, the group will meet every Monday night from 7-9 p.m. as part of a class offered on East Campus. Anyone interested in joining the Valencia A Cappella Chorale must register for the Valencia course, MUS 2930, CRN # 22100.

Voices of Valencia, a nonprofessional community/student choral ensemble of Valencia Community College, is looking for new members as it heads into the spring term. Anyone can join the group and no auditions are required.

The ensemble will be working on a show called That 70’s Choir, which will feature top 40 music from each year of the 1970’s.

Starting January 13, the group will meet every Tuesday night from 7 - 9:45 p.m. as part of a class offered on East Campus. Anyone interested in joining Voices of Valencia must register for the Valencia course, MUN 1311, CRN # 21965.

The cost for each of these courses is $77.83. If you have remaining SPD funds for the year, they might be applied to the cost of tuition. Participants will receive one hour of college credit for each class.

Client Service Center at Valencia Enterprises

Valencia Enterprises has a department dedicated solely to assisting students called the Client Service Center (CSC). The CSC, with a bilingual staff of four, handles student inquiries, walk-ins, registrations, advising, and payment for all Valencia Enterprises students. If you have a student interested in continuing education courses, such as English as a Second Language, Spanish, leadership, management, technology certificates, and more, please refer them to VE’s Client Service Center at ext. 6688, or send us an email at ve_info@valenciacc.edu.

2009 Spring Wellness Offerings
Classes begin January 19th and ends April 24th
