Ownership

Owned and operated by the college.  The bookstores provide services to students, faculty, and staff.

Services and Merchandise

The main job of the bookstore is to provide textbooks for classes offered at Valencia. Department Chairs submit textbook titles and estimated enrollments to the bookstore staff.

Prices

Publishers, not the bookstore, set textbook prices. When publishers increase prices, the bookstore must increase prices accordingly.

Supplies

In addition to textbooks, the bookstore sells imprinted soft goods, classroom supplies, engineering and drafting supplies, paperback books, and other accessories.

Bookstore Staff

The bookstore staff is available to assist you. They will tell you which books are appropriate for classes and help you special-order such things as class rings and books. (All special orders require a 50% deposit.) Bookstore staff and management are available to answer your questions.

Hours

Regular bookstore hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The bookstore observes extended hours during the first two weeks of Session 1 and 2. During the summer sessions (3,4,&5) the bookstore has extended hours for the first week only.
