Financial Aid
It is suggested that you complete your financial aid request prior to the financial
aid priority deadline – the deadline, forms and additional information are posted
at http://valenciacc.edu/finaid . If you have
questions regarding the financial aid process, please visit the Answer Center
or call Nelnet College Planning telephone counselors toll free at 1-866-866-7372.
You can still apply for financial aid after the deadline, but are not guaranteed
to receive aid in time to pay for classes.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
. Allow at least 6 weeks for your application to be processed. Valencia's

- Be sure to mark the degree you will be seeking on the admissions application.
To receive financial aid, you must seek an Associate in Arts (A.A.); an Associate
in Science (A.S.) or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree or one of
the job training certificate programs approved for financial aid.
- Request that your official final high school and/or official college transcript(s)
be sent to Valencia. You will be classified as a non-degree seeking student
until your official final transcript(s) are received.
First time in college students: request your official final
high school transcripts or proof of your GED.
Transfer students: request official copies of transcripts
from all colleges that you ever attended. It is suggested that you also have
