During 2008/2009 Valencia's typical credit student was Caucasian, 21 years old, and a resident of Orange County. This representative student was enrolled part time, attended day classes, took 9 credit hours, and sought an AA degree. About 58% of the credit population was non-Caucasian. Overall, the credit student body was 57% female and 42% male. Approximately 56% of credit students enrolled on a part-time basis, while 70% of credit enrollees attended classes during the day.
