URGENT:  Open Enrollment Follow-Up

 

Please encourage ALL employees to check the deductions on their payroll stubs.  Human Resources has had numerous employees contact the Benefits & Retirement section wondering why dependents are no longer covered on health and/or dental.  If you or one of your employees thinks that this may be the case, please have him/her log into the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF) MyBlueService website to view his/her profile (see URL listed below).  If employees discover that they are listed with employee only coverage, have them contact a member of the HR Benefits & Retirement team to correct the error.  We have only a short amount of time in which to make these corrections.  Shown below are the team members and their extensions.

 

 

 

Health/Dental Insurance Changes to be done Online:

 

The same MyBlueService that you used to do the online Open Enrollment is now available for you to make changes to your health and dental information.  Employees will make changes to their personal information with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF).  Address and name changes as well as the addition/deletion of dependents can all be done online.  (Name changes and address changes must still be sent to the Human Resources  Records Section to update your files for payroll and retirement purposes.)  As always, the HR  Benefits & Retirement section is available to assist employees; however, employees with access to a computer will need to make their health and dental updates online.

 

Remember, too, that you can track claims information, find a dentist or doctor, and utilize a host of services via MyBlueService by logging into www.bcbsfl.com.

 

 

 

Flexible Benefits Information Online:

 

Need a medical reimbursement or dependent care reimbursement claim form?  You can now print one from the Human Resources Benefits website.  You can find this form along with other benefits and retirement information when you log into www.valenciacc.edu/HR/benefits.asp.  This form may be printed on white paper.

Once again, we will run this popular series of workshops that will be held on March 6, March 20, March 27, and April 3, 2007, from 3:00  4:30 PM.  For locations and more information about each workshop, visit the Leadership Valencia website to register for the series or just the ones that you would like to attend.  Hurrythese workshops book up fast!
